The passing of the Founder of Bricklink
Founder of Bricklink, Dan Jezek, passed away unexpectedly today. TBH gives him our most honorable respects. I wish his friends and family our most sincere wishes. This is truly a great loss to the LEGO Community. You can read the official page here. Thank you. Bricklink will continue on with his family and friends taking care of it.

Re: The passing of the Founder of Bricklink
Even though I only ordered from Bricklink once I always have used it as a part inventary and have told my friends to buy some parts from there when they don't have 'em.
I always feel emocional when a great person related to lego passes, even if I don't know their work, I think I almost cried once the other one(the one who first built a Vic Viper, the name slips my mind at the moment) passed away, then again I always think of it as a rest for all of their hard working life and always consider that they are now in a better place.
(I'm very emotional about deaths 'cause my maternal grandfather died two months before I was born, the only memory I have related to him is my brother incorrectly saying my name for a long while when I was a kid, that was what my grandfather was trying to teach him... I always feel sad nowadays, that's why I use humor, to escape my sadness)
Cheers.
