Bionicles-Happy or Sad?

What do you think of the discontinuation of the long lasting Bionicle™ theme?

I have mixed emotions. I'm happy because I honestly didn't like it much, they looked to kiddish.

I'm sad because their parts (If you use 'em right), you can make better bionicles, and also use their Technic parts for LEGO System use.

Sad, They where awesome, And will be missed.

I'm so happy! I missed the start of it and so could not get into the story. But, hero factory is great! I own every set and love the story! :classicsmile:

I'm sad the hero factory line is lacking the awesomeness that was Bionicle. I had every issue except issue one the one that came out in like 2000 or something.

I got a full issue, but I figured out later that I was missing one. From that entire issue, only one is in-tact.

Just like you, I'm semi sad, semi happy. I used to be a Bionicle freak, so I'm somewhat sad. Bionicles had a story that I really liked and I loved making customs. Plus, in 09 I got back into them. Then I found out they were cancelled.

No, I don't want bionicle back... But I realy like the new molds in each set! But these seem to all have the same recolored parts.. I will decide once final pics come.

Man, some of those new ones are ugly! Fire Lord looks similar to many bionicles.

Some of them are pretty bad looking.

I used to love Bionicals like 5 years ago. They just where cool looking. This sucks that they are leaving. I hate this stupid hero factory crap that they replaced it with.

now that I think about it, looking at all this hero factory... trying to stop myself from posting something I'd regret, but I am actually sad about bionicle leaving. So glad I have a bucket full in my basement

Now Mods, this post is semi-on topic, it relates to bionicles:

Did anyone hear about what happened in guitar hero 6? A bunch of kids kept calling, and emailing, and sending letters to the guitar hero people about more metal songs in guitar hero. 1/3 of the entire setlist became metal. I wonder if somebody did that to lego about bionicle, we'd have them back?

I used to love it, but about 4 years ago, I stopped playing with them and then I decided that I didn't like them. I don't like Hero factory either. I was happy, yet i still have two large boxes filled with bionicles.

I like it and am pretty sad about it being gone

The only Hero factory I honestly wouldn't mind to have is Stormer V1, all the rest are crap.

I don't get how people consider it Lego. I much prefer bricks.

Same here. But the occasional Bionicle piece has never hurt a MOC of mine.
