I have no clue what person is willing to spend hundreds on a toy. That town they show is worth just about 1,00 bucks! For a TOY!

It just that everyone has that little thing they are willing to drop hundreds on, Scale Rail-Roading is much more expensive..The Empire wrote:I have no clue what person is willing to spend hundreds on a toy. That town they show is worth just about 1,00 bucks! For a TOY!
I really like this series, I do realize it is a ton of money, but being only something like $150 a year isn't bad.. They all make nice Photography backgrounds also.

I would love to see a Post Office, they have covered all other 'town' buildings other then just a straight-up house and a Post Office.JCC1004 wrote:A post office for 2013 would be cool.

I think a post office and maybe some type of IKEA-esque store would be cool. But this set also looks pretty interesting to me. I got into the Modular buildings over winter break, so I'll definitely buy it. I'd like to hear some other opinions (wether echoing mine or not)

The main difference is... scale railroading involves models... not for children, but this is a TOY.Octan wrote:It just that everyone has that little thing they are willing to drop hundreds on, Scale Rail-Roading is much more expensive..The Empire wrote:I have no clue what person is willing to spend hundreds on a toy. Looking very nice. I'm a fan of the whole series, even though I don't even have one yet.

Actually, the modular city series is priced very reasonably. You can get <2000 bricks for nearly $150, as with other themes it's more like 2000 for $200.

This is what I count when it comes to LEGO these days:
Size
It's a toy
I bought a set for $50, and my mother saw it and said "That's it?" She doesn't even know about LEGO pricing.

Wow, thats a pretty good looking set. I'd pick one up if I had the money to do so.
