General Magma's Star Wars Minifigures
Hi all.
Here's my first topic in the customization section.
Here you can find some of my custom Star Wars minifigs. Enjoy!
First of all, we have...
Savage Opress
Here he is, one of the few Savage Opress minifigures!
The villain from some of the upcoming Clone Wars episodes. As you may know, he's a Zabrak, hence the horns.
I think he turned out quite nice. Only thing I want to change in the future, is to make the horns with
something that hardens on the minifig head, but still sticks onto it. The horns are currently just too soft, and I'm planning on
using this figure in several stop-motion animations and MOCs.
I made the face decal entirely myself. It's probably my second or third attempt on a face decal,
and in my opinion, it turned out great and very accurate. Well, onto the figure now...
Sorry, this picture's a little blurry...

Here's his UNFINISHED non-lightsaber weapon. I don't know the name of it, but it's somewhat a mix of a staff and an axe.
Only the lower half has been finished:

Reference pictures, for comparing to the real one:
That's all for now, folks! Hope you enjoyed.
I've got lots more ready to be posted (and to be photographed).
Also, if you know something sticky to attach to the head to make horns that harden on the head, but still stays on perfectly;
Then please tell me your ideas for it.
Thanks, and enjoy. More coming soon.

Looks good, if I liked the clone wars I'd like this better, but it still looks semi perfect, I'd only change the shoulder pad, to what I don't know, but I definatively would.

Cheers and keep up the good work.

Really nice creation, but I don't understand. When does he come in during the series? Tonight?
Re: General Magma's Star Wars Minifigures
He is coming up in the series, but since he will be a main villan, SW have been making mini-trailers for him.The Empire wrote:Really nice creation, but I don't understand. When does he come in during the series? Tonight?
Great custom, GM! Keep up the great work.

I like it, and it's accurate to the real. You could use self hardining clay for horns.
Re: General Magma's Star Wars Minifigures
Thanks everyone!
It's from the castle troll general.

Hello all! Today, I wanted to show you guys some of my SWTFU customs.
All of them are no figures that have been made recently, so some of them are older.
The newest one is Starkiller from the SWTFU2 game cover.
Group shot of all the figures:
SWTFU: Custom Batch #1 (Group shot) by General Magma, on Flickr
Starkiller - training gear

Note the ripped sleeve:

Starkiller - heavy training gear
Credit for the rubber band idea goes to flickr member Jonathan - I used a thin rubber band, though,
since it looked too large otherwise. This one is pretty old.

Starkiller - The Force Unleashed II
This Starkiller costume is from SWTFU2's game cover. As far as I know, it didn't appear in-game. Or did it?
I made this one around July or August.

Darth Vader - battle damaged
This is the official minifigure, but I made a custom damaged cape for him, since that was what the official figure lacked. :sceptic:

Rahm Kota
And last but not least, the main Jedi from the original game!
Credit to Flickr member Vid for the great decals.

Some extra figures, from "Star Wars: Battlefront", which I also wanted to show here.
Rebel Vanguard
This one doesn't have any custom elements added, except for the visor, which I painted white.
I could've done it without a visor, as that would be white too, but the gap looked ugly.
The Rebel Vanguard is complete with his rocket launcher.

Rebel Marksman
Here's the last one for today, folks!
The Rebel Marksman, complete with a sniper rifle.

Hope you guys liked it. Soon, there will be more, but this is all for now...

Re: General Magma's Star Wars Minifigures
And I'm back with some new stuff.
Recently, I have started planning a Geonosis diorama project. For that, I'll need many Jedi, so today I decided to create some (named and all), as a small start for the project. They may not be great, but Jedi mostly just wear robes, really.
Battle of Geonosis: Jedi
The first batch of Jedi. From left to right, we have:
Zarcon Hiukset, Aquidir Qoquz, Kolam Zakann (credit to LuxorV from Eurobricks for the body decal), Kapuzen Mestari and Qeldor Ulrand.
Geonosis: Jedi #1 by General Magma, on Flickr
The next batch is completely purist. Ignore Kit Fisto and Plo Koon, they don't count as customs. From left to right:
Kit Fisto, Grant Gannan, Xrixvar Shirxvush, Tranxx Viqir and Plo Koon.
Geonosis: Jedi #2 by General Magma, on Flickr

Re: General Magma's Star Wars Minifigures
Wow, these are great, I noticed one thing, Kapuzen Mestari, I'm assuming that means hooded Master, right? Indeed that sounds like a "germanized" version of my language lol.
Nice ones, I really like these, you should make more.

Thanks, and indeed: Kapuzen Mestari means "hooded master". Kapuzen and Mestari are both words from a different language, but when both translated to English and combined, it indeed means hooded master.
More coming soon...

Re: General Magma's Star Wars Minifigures
Nice job! Are these ones you made up, or are they ones based off of real guys?
