Gungan Weaponry

Hello all!

Lately, I have been making Gungan weapons and equipment, and I wanted to share those with the rest of you here, other than on Flickr.

So far, I have made: Atlatl, booma's/energy balls (small and medium), cesta, electropole, booma/energy ball holder.
I'm working on: Gungan energy catapult (whizbooma)

The first picture shows the first versions of my atlatl. Feel free to ignore it,
the second picture features a newer and much better version.
Other than that, we have an electropole and 2 medium-sized energy balls. (Booma's, as called by the Gungans)

The second batch of weapons features the second version of my Atlatl (finalized), a cesta and the small energy balls.

Hopefully you liked those for now, I'll have more up soon. The Gungan catapult is still a WIP,
but the progress is coming along nicely. If you browse my Flickr photostream, you can find a picture of a bad prototype I made. Only the launcher will make it into the final version. More coming soon.

As for the MOC-off, I'm still awaiting my BL order for pieces, and I'm also busy with the Star Wars Lego Creations (group) contest entry, but the idea I want to use for my MOC-off entry will be executed soon.
My BL order is taking very long, though. Been 10 days since it had been shipped ( ), but that could mean that it will be arriving soon. As for the rest, we'll talk about that in the group on the 'pages.

Welcome to the site, Little Ewok! And I agree with you, the catapult looks really neat. I adore how you did that curve with the 1x1 rounds.
