A Train Subforum in City?

There seems to be a good fan base for LEGO trains here, including myself. With the new Maersk Train news and Captain Stabbin's MOCs it seems that it would suit our community well. Here is where you can vote for it or not. I will run this poll for a week or so. At the end, based on the results, a Train Subfourm will be created or shelved until further notice. So vote on!

Would a "Transportation" subforum be better? It fits more themes.

I think I agree with CommandoMando, it makes more sense to me to make a Transportation sub-forum...

Good idea Mando. I thonk Transportation is a bit more general than Train.

I don't see an option for me to vote, so I'll just say it. YES, We need a train subforum. Even if it is not very popular in this forum, it is a theme within the LEGO world. I'm sure there are more people interested. "If you build it they will come!!!"

Ill go with trains

My problem with Transportation is that it is too generic. Think about how many things that are normally in City that would also go into Transportation. Also TLG even calls Trains another theme. The poll will run a bit longer.

The truth of the fact is Transportation is too general. We would be putting half of city and town sets into it and the town forum would become dead.

I don't think we should have a whole subforum for transportation. I think Train should be on it's own, and transportation be with city.

So when does this poll/vote end? Just wondering.

Sorry Captain Stabbin. The other Admin was in charge of it and he is no where to be found. I'll move it out into the public now as it is done.
