Recent Non-Lego Aquisitions
This is like the Lego topic for stuff you bought recently but not for Lego.
Don't go over the top, like saying I bought a banana and a mars bar, but something everyone else would care about.
I've bought a few things recently, but here is one thing I got from hamleys-
I got this pic of it from the internet, I'll take some pics of it myself when i get home.
I feel powerful.

Re: Recent Non-Lego Aquisitions
I was hoping while I'm in North Carolina until Wednesday to get a 3DS (only got to play one) and instead I got an extra Xbox 360 controller. Hoo-ray.

Battle City Duel Disk
Awesome Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards(From Trade and Booster Packs)
Managed to trade some fusion cards I couldn't use(E-Heroes mostly since I always liked them but have very few) for two of these, I also got some cool old booster packs
in order:
Portuguese Blue Eyes White Dragon(first alternative image[I wish I had the second]) from an old Booster Pack I somehow managed to find...
Portuguese Paladin of the White Dragon(Trade for E-Hero Mariner and E-Hero Neo Bubbleman)
Portuguese White Dragon Ritual(Trade for E-Hero Mariner and E-Hero Neo Bubbleman)
Shiny Rapid-Fire Magician(I thought it was a crap card until I saw the effect) From a Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Booster Pack(awful series, awesome designs and cards).

Re: Recent Non-Lego Aquisitions
I've been getting some action figures (for those that don't know, I also collect Star Wars figures) in the mail until the new Summer SW sets arrive. Some I really like include-
ARC Troopers
Stormtrooper Commander
TONS of Vintage 1977-85 figures
Captain Lock
Stormtroopers
Clone Troopers
Also a Stormtrooper "deformed" plush (he has a larger head) and an Imperial T-shirt (it's black with the imperial logo, as seen in my signature, in white on the front and on the right sleeve)
Nice idea, perthy. And it's Acquisitions, that's been edited.
You look pretty funny, Henri. I think I have one of those buried somewhere in my basement. And JCC (from his old obsession when he was a teenager) has a lot of Yu-gi-oh cards sowed away deep in the bowls of his house, which in turn, should be named h-e double hockey sticks. ( , no, not really.)

YuGiOh
Marik Structure Deck
last one at the store, this should be called "Strategy Deck" with two main strategies and a couple of others, filled with Gravekeeper's cards, AWESOME!
2 Of the cards are banned from tournament, that's how awesome this deck is.
Here's a pic with a sidehelping of Henri and his Eyebrows of epicness:

anyway, wich cards where banned?
Temple of The Kings is banned
Mystical Beast of Serket isn't, but it might as well be being that it only works when Temple of The Kings is on the field, the card also goes by the names: Temple of the King, Cathedral of Nobles, King's Temple and Pharaoh's Shrine

It has LEGO studs on it! It's pretty close to LEGO. I was joking anyway.

First and Last time I say this: DAMN YOU HALF WITTED TRANSLATORS AND SUBTITLERS!
Yeah that's how it is throughout my entire SW3 DVD, so it's not really my fault as much as it is Lucas's

Re: Recent Non-Lego Aquisitions
A very high powered green laser-pointer
I got this baby custom made, its laser-diod is usually housed in a slide projector case, but I got it re-made to fit into a pen... I love lasers (They are almost my second hobby), and this thing can shoot up to six miles and can be spilt into 45 different beams (Each can go up to six miles) with a tiny rig that screws onto the front... Oh, and I have to wear welding glasses to use this. And as for cost, lets just say I won't be being Lego for a while...

Re: Recent Non-Lego Aquisitions
You know you didn't have to make it that high powered. What exactly are you intending to do with this? Blind people and animals? Be a MIB Agent and wipe memories?

It can burn paper.... For digital tagging you need one like this... Digital tagging is when you set a camera for long exposure facing the side of a building, then you draw with the laser and the camera picks it up as a image. So Garfetti without breaking the law...

Stop the personal vendetta Henri. We were discussing what he recently acquired and you got off topic with that post.DarkBeast the Great wrote:I feel compeled to say BACK ON TOPIC... why could that be Octomon?
Re: Recent Non-Lego Aquisitions
Vendetta is a mighty fine word... then again I was also speaking with flame on a topic where no one else posted, on a conversation he started on his topic and Octomon had to go and stop the entertaining convo... that's rude D:<

It is not rude that I have to keep this forum clean! It is rude that we have to do this! You should know not to go that far off topic! If you really want to talk to him do it in PM form, not in someones topic! It is rude I have to be called Octomom this entire time (Yet I kind of like it )DarkBeast the Great wrote:Vendetta is a mighty fine word... then again I was also speaking with flame on a topic where no one else posted, on a conversation he started on his topic and Octomon had to go and stop the entertaining convo... that's rude D:<

If you intend on buying a SW hoodie go one size larger, they manage to screw sizes up easily, also get the "starwars coffee" hoodie, IT'S AWESOME!

"looks cool are you a keen brickarms collector?"
Not at all, I have like 20 of there guns. I appreciate what they have done for the community, but for certain reasons I do not collect their work.
"Why is this in the non-lego shtuff?"
Brickarms is not, and never will be LEGO. It is a third party company, so it is not LEGO.

Edit: No-one got the joke about the fact my display is Fabuland. Fabuland's Mafia...
