Garden Grove Empty Garden Grove

Hello Everybody. I've decided to share with you, what I have been working on the last couple months. Since I have dived head over heels for LEGO trains, I decided to start my own city for my trains to travel around. I have decided to base most of my buildings on the city of Falmouth Jamaica, and a couple from Charleston South Carolina. The earlier being the greatest concentration of colonial Carribean Georgian architecture in the Caribbean. So therefore, my city is located on a small island in the Caribbean.

My city will always be a work in progress, as you can tell. It will be pieced together whenever I have the means and pieces to do so. Just like real cities, Garden Grove will continously be evolving and changing. It's a slow process though, having to wait until I can afford pieces and so on. So here is the begining of my never ending project. I love this hobby!

This looks great Captain! Classic Smile I like the way you used the Soldier's fort pieces in the buildings, and is that bananas in a tree?
So far this project looks like it's coming along great, and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Ha, the little house in the last picture reminds me of the one that started my city!

Anyway, those buildings look fantastic, but you'll need some more inhabitants!
