Building Ships

So I have always liked building veichles, but mostly star wars ships. I reckon I can build a decent pirate ship with some sets I have lying around, but would like to have some criticism as to what I should expect from my first pirate ship build and if I should really build a pirate ship before I own any pirate sets...

wel the bottom of the ship is done, now I just need the "lid" for it and then the captain's cabin and the flags and whatnot, I'll have problems with the last because having no pirates sets I don't really have pieces for that...

Blur background? Could you elaborate? That might be something interesting, maybe I can even used it on some video(s).

Not building something quite that majestic...

it's a great ship and I'll look back to the thread if I need help.

the color scheme reminds me of Queen Anne's Revenge for some odd reason...


Haven't advanced much on the ship, the bottom of the ship is done, now to add the "floor boards" (going for all brown so it'll be hard), once I'm done I'll get some string to add details and I'll get some cloth to make the flags.

(I don't know much about boats as you can see)


P.s: Goin' to the World Premiere of POTC OST Tomorrow! WOOOHOOOO!

Yesterday, and it was an "in theater" world premiere, not a "newspapers only" world premiere.


It's only gonna premiere on the US today, so I'm just warming up my middle fingers for octan and lemon, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

well then again I'm technically supposed to be a nut-head who's taking away the job of decent moderators all over Brick Hope City, maybe a menace that must be stopped, maybe a good guy, maybe someone that found a full body wet suit on sale and decided to buy it, only to later remember that he did nothing that required one and thus he added an insignia, a bullet proof vest, a belt, a cape, a mask and acquired a cumputer to fight crime(and spam) just so he could say he had a use for it.

Brick-built hulls can be difficult, you'll need a plenty of slopes. Eurobricks's Pirate forum has a plenty of guides and resources, try to find the kind of ship that you can afford to build.

the hull is already done to say the truth, I just need to cover it and build a bit more on top of that, but so far my ship is inside my closet full of pieces that were scattered on the ground because acoording to my dad that's how to tidy up something.

I haven't touched it since...
