What's your favourite number?
So tell me I'm interested.
Is it 3, 7 or 96?
Mine is 7 and I'm apparently one of the common ones.

Anyone guess mine? I condense it sometimes too.
Also like 41 for 41st Elite and 3. Don't ask me why.

Re: What's your favourite number?
Everyone is wrong... mathmatically wise that's not the square root of pi... anyone that has had a decent math teacher will know the answer...

You can't have a square root of an illogical number like pi?

Re: What's your favourite number?
It's an irrational number, not illogical.JackDawson1010 wrote:Blhctendo64 the Great wrote:Everyone is wrong... mathmatically wise that's not the square root of pi... anyone that has had a decent math teacher will know the answer...

You can't have a square root of an irrational number.
Though this is debatable.
Re: What's your favourite number?
... the awnser is "the square root of pi"
The square root of pi IS the square root of pi, whenever you wish to mention it in maths that's what you call it...

Re: What's your favourite number?
The square root of pi is infinite, just like pi. These numbers are irrational, it doesn't mean that there isn't a square root, even if it is never-ending.Blhctendo64 the Great wrote:Everyone is wrong... mathmatically wise that's not the square root of pi... anyone that has had a decent math teacher will know the answer...

Nope... if you knew math you'd know it, my old math teacher answered correctly on his first try when I posted it on facebook...

Re: What's your favourite number?
Math is always debatable. You said your favorite number was the square root of pi, thus you just got EMPY CONTRADICTED!
Re: What's your favourite number?
Math is not a set of rules, the rules are just what we understand in the world around us, and math is built around that. Math is not set at all, take a look at Base-4, that is the weirdest thing I have seen. The Empire wrote:Math is always debatable. Re: What's your favourite number?
You must realize we all live around the globe, different teachers, different methods. The only time when that wouldn't work is with Empy and I at times since we've shared one or two teachers over the years.
Re: What's your favourite number?
... I fear I must disagree seeing as math is like a language except there's only one correct answer all the times.
I always learnt pi isn't a number to "play with"
the square root of pi is the square root of pi and that's that... BACKON ZE TOPIC, YAH?
