Lord of the Rings has died off, and it's fan base becomes smaller every day. Chances of release are slim.

Not to mention "The Hobbit" is like the "Duke Nukem Forever" of films, it's gonna be released way after people even care to see it and it won't be a match with the people's expectations, the diference between Hobbit and Duke is Duke's HILARIOUS...
