Quality Quidditch Supplies
Here is my version of the shop Quality Quidditch Supplies which can be found in Diagon Alley. It appears in the first two films. I tried to use many different shades of grey to get a nice texture and also some other details. I hope you like it and comments would be welcome.

Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
Saw it already on FAlickr(actually I posted a comment there asking when you'd put this here) and it looks SCHWEET!!!!!!!
I wish I had that kind of building skills, the only problem to me is the various colors, they distract me and they don't look great IMO, but it's your moc and it doesn't make it any less awesome that you decided to add your own touch to it.
Cheers.

Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
Meh, Its okay I guess.
Firstly, none of the windows match, And that just looks messed up (And I really hate the use of that big window part, Its just ugly.) Secondly, Why on earth is some of the building BLUE? Is it made out of magical blue brick or somethin'? And lastly, In the reference pic that you posted the building looked brown, How come this is gray? Anyway I'm just giving constructive criticism to try and help you improve this.

Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
Not that constructive, you just posted everything bad about it.
You obviously didn't see my post where I said 'This is my version'. The window piece works best with it and the photo does not do it justice. The blue is the secondary colour in this MOC and it makes it look broken down. Like I said the photo may show a brown building but I wanted to do my own version and that is what I did.

Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
It was constructive, I was telling you what you could improve, And no I didn't read the part where you said it was your version, And for that I apologize, But I still think that you should at least change the large window to a brick-build window.
Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
It's grand! It's perfection! I'm speechless (yet I'm talking). This must be frontpaged!
And I like the window, I think it's the best piece for the job, the only difference is that it is too short (but if it were any longer, than he would have to build more), and it's a nice pattern, the same shape and pattern as the window, but it is black, not brown (but I don't think they made one anyway in that color anyway) so it's the best he can do.

Like said, if the window was any bigger, it would be so big he would be able to fit a door!

Just expand the whole thing. The Empire wrote:Like said, if the window was any bigger, it would be so big he would be able to fit a door!

I like the size of the window... But it would look better if it was 2-6 studs longer.

Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
I really Like it! The only thing that I would say needs to be improved is to add more items in the window. Otherwise I think it's great!
Re: Quality Quidditch Supplies
It looks great, but perhaps the colors are too diverse: for Castle walls, I prefer choosing one main color and another secondary color, and then put the secondary color in small "patches" instead. I like the angles and the door, though.
The roof could have been better.
Although there are some things I don't like in this MOC, the whole creation is an excellent interpretation and a nice building. Well done!

Nice job! I think the window needs to be a little larger but besides that this is perfect!
