Sweet, I hadn't noticed they were even decals until you said so... I definately need some help with my minifig customizing...

Thanks! They aren't all perfect, but I am still experimenting with Laserjet paper, which is slightly weaker than Inkjet, because you don't need to seal them as much, however, it also enables you to have much smoother applications.

I like them are they waterside decals? If so how do you know which colors will show up on which brick background?

Yes they are. It is more of a random chance, you just guess because sometimes the printer prints them at different colors,darkness, etc.
