Thanks RedWater, I can't wait to see your pics!
Re: Lego Photography
I haven't made any LEGO photos, but this is my only surviving photo of a Cody action figure after a virus.
As you see, my camera's not too good.

Re: Lego Photography
I know. I only saved it as an avatar. And I resized it to fit as an avatar. And I must admit, it is okay for a really old Polaroid.
Re: Lego Photography
Awesome! I have most of those figs (All but the new Boba, if I recall) and they rock!
@SirWacky-Alas, no. I can't afford one right now. That's why I'm asking for a picture of my siggy.

Superb photography. As I don't know anything about photography I can't say I see anything wrong.

General Magma's Batch of Pictures #1
(Same post also on Eurobricks)
Hello all!
I recently got a new digital camera, and I got into LEGO photography.
Today I decided to do "some" shots, but in fact, it later turned out to be much more pics.
I'll post some deeplinks here, the rest is on Flickr.
My first "real" LEGO Photography, with Star Wars and Space Police - so that's Science Fiction photography for now:

To see the rest of the Space Police Log pictures (and more of the story in the description), start from here, and continue by clicking the pics to the left under "General Magma's photostream".
Hope you guys liked my first batch of pics! :classic:

The lightsaber duel looks really good, General. The red is what gives it the effect of something really epic, like a universe changing battle.

Re: Lego Photography
Time for another batch of shots I took today.
This time, they're Endor shots - they weren't taken outdoor, however, since there's still snow outside.
Thanks to the potted plants, I was still able to do some Endor pics. The first one is my personal favorite.

Thanks for the tag and the title.
It's great to see how much I have improved in one and a half month of photographing.
There'll be more up tomorrow, I may also have a bonus pic for today.
EDIT: And here's the bonus pic.

Re: Lego Photography
(Sorry, I hope this double post is OK - editing my previous post would have people overlooking this)
Today, I tried something new. Perhaps I'll have some more shots up later today, but I wanted to share this one for now:
On the run

Imperial Logbook #01: On the run
"We've encountered quite much of a problem today...
While patrolling the woods of Endor, some kind of a hairy beast suddenly jumped out of the bushes, and ripped apart one of our comrades, Bob XIV.
We had to escape as fast as we could, else the other two of us would have become food for the hairy thing, too."

Re: Lego Photography
Endor photography continues! Enjoy.
I decided to do another ewok biography shot after Wicket,
and here it is, this time featuring...
Chief Chirpa
Chief Chirpa by General Magma, on Flickr
"Chirpa was the head of his Ewok tribe's Council of Elders in the Bright Tree Village on the forest moon of Endor. The gray-furred Chirpa carried a reptilian staff denoting his rank which carried the teeth and horns of animals he had hunted. He and his wife Ra-Lee had two daughters: Asha and Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka. Chirpa was also the brother of Bozzie and the uncle of Paploo."
I also tried a different kind of lightning in an "Endor at night" shot:

I decided to snap a few more pics today: some indoor shots, aswell as some outdoor shots.

The New assignement:
It seems like the Hunter Squad( A squad of bounty hunters lead by a clone commando and currently at the disposal of the republic) has a new mission, they are ready to fly off in their Nu-Class shuttle piloted by their trusty clone ARC pilot "Spoilt", here they are: Orange and Red: Flamer, leader of the Hunter Squad; Dark Red: Codename Sniper, an old Elite Coruscant Guard(before the implementation of the clones); Sand Green: Chief, Renegade Bounty Hunter, looking for the best deal, he murdered member of Flamer's old Commando Unit; Red and Blue: Blast, an old Naboo guard who was forced to retire due to several cripples 'caused by defending the people of Naboo, He has a mechanical left leg(hence the markings), a mechanical shoulder and part of his chest, and a metal plate in his head, to make up for the shattering of his cranium(he bled all over, hence the red markings on his helmet that resemble blood and the blast mark that was carved into it, exactly in the same place where the laser fire struck his head); Dark Blue: Techy, used to be a database Hacker for the Separatist, the Jedi demanded that he joined the team once he asked for a possibility to redeem himself, he also has good aim and flies a jetpack.
Sorry for the long description, I just love these characters.
I'm also sorry for the blurryness, my camera's LED display is so small that sometimes I can't see focused from unfocused.
