Deep Sea Pandemonium Mafia - Intro & Sign-up

Welcome to underwater site of Atlantis, the only place in the world where mutant sea creatures are rampaging around. A team of international divers and scientists have been working hard in the exploration of Atlantis. In fact an important breakthrough has almost been uncovered. But one dark day in the deep sea, about 4 days ago... 3 of the best Atlantis team scientists were found dead: impaled by harpoons. It is unlikely that they were killed by creatures, as no sea creatures are equipped with harpoon guns... the killer must've been one of the crew, and they must want this project to be stopped, now! Now everyone is in a panic, who knows what will happen...

Welcome to the Deep Sea Pandemonium Mafia! This is the Introduction and Sign-Up topic. These are the rules and guidelines of the mafia games, please read them over and then you can continue reading the introduction to the mafia.

Please read all the information below before signing up!
- Please stay in character during the game (not in the sign-up topic, though)
- You can have "disputes" with other people, but IN CHARACTER! It must not really harm the other person, and it must be related to the mafia game.
- If you wish to state an issue with the mafia game, please PM me directly.
- Off-topic posts and out-of character posts will not be tolerated, and they will be deleted.
- Be kind and respectful.

Scientist Ben: *clears throat*
Scientist Ben: Hi everyone, you are here in this emergency meeting today because... well, to be frank--


Scientist Frank: *whispers* What?
Scientist Ben: Never mind.
Scientist Ben: Anyways, we're having this emergency meeting because there is an emergency. Three of our scientists have been killed. They were discovered today with harpoons sticking out of them. It appears that they were killed about 4 days ago.


Scientist Ben: Yeah, you know the story. Frank will continue for me.


Scientist Frank: Yeah seriously guys, this isn't just some random sea monster that came up from the deep.


Scientist Frank: The killers could be any one of us! Its most likely more than one of us, actually!
*multiple voices*: It wasn't me!
*another voice*: Well it wasn't me either you liar!


*yelling*
*fighting*
*Ben gets elbowed in the gut*


Scientist Ben: EVERYONE!! STOP IT NOW!!


*everyone stops*
Scientist Ben: Guys, seriously! We need to work together to figure out this case. This case WILL be solved!! Lets get to it!

I don't want to be any character, I've noticed in the past that in competitions I tend to get angry so to avoid any further complications I'd just like to stand by and view you play, if you don't mind.

I don't think so, to be honest. If they want to participate, a little thing such as changing your avatar shouldn't bother them. To be an active part of the mafia-game it should require that you actually show that you are willing to be a part of it.

It sound fun. but I agree with JCC. The avatar thing is a little demanding. He really likes his avatar and he spent like 30 minutes just taking it. I have advertised The Brick Hope and my mafia on MOCpages, we've already gotten two new members from that. Assuming that they will join, and a couple other people it will be full

Anyways, if all the spaces don't get filled up, I'll just keep them there in case some people sign up late. Or I could kill them off

About the icon - JCC can always put his icon back once the mafia is over, right?

But used a sort-of German accent- "Z" instead of "S" and "ze" instead of "the" is not the stereotypical Russian accent, it's the stereotypical German accent.

I don't know if you realize this, but the russian accent is the hardest to make, specifically when voicing and usually turns to a germanish accent, so give him some slack, he isn't russian, he's not used to listening the accent.... comon mistake.
