LennonFan1010's Annual MOC tournament sign-ups

Hey guys, this is a new thing for the Brick Hope. It's a MOC tournament. Here's how it will work, after you sign-up, you have 2 weeks to create a MOC. You must post a picture of it on the Official Tournament thread. You will be paired up with another member with a similar building style/theme. The judges (Me, and I need two more) will determine who has a better MOC, and that person will go on in the tournament. If you have ANY questions, or would like to sign-up, post something below. If you want to be a judge, PM me.

yeah, as long as it was made for any contest, but wasn't entered.

What theme would Fabuland fall into? Would it be town or what?

Um.... Fabuland have like 24 sets and 90 diffrent figs. Its not small.

I'll see if I can make something. I'm pretty low on bricks at the moment. I'll see if I can make something hoth-related. It's snowy outside, and that inspires me. I'm either doing a Star Wars Golf, Hoth scene, or, entering my Bionicle. I'm in.

You said we team up with someone with similar building style. We are both probably doing Bionicle things, so, if we team up, we have a better chance at winning.

by which I mean, we will look at your MOC, and that person you were paired up with, and decide which is better

you are supposed to. everyone is. everyone enters their own MOC, and then we judge based on who makes similar. Say for example you and Octan make an Indiana Jones MOC (just an example), and VBBN and Brickfoot make Bionicle, we'd judge whether VBBN or Brickfoot's MOC was better, and whether yours or Octan's MOC was better. Hope this cleared everything up :D

Maybe it would be more fair to draw the names of groups together instead of placing them together.

I think we should have the public vote instead of the judges. They can maintain the groups and other activities, but I think the general public should vote. That makes for a more fair contest, because with more voters, everyone has a different chance, better outcome, and the hosts get a better average to votes.

I have one question. I'm thinking of bulding a colonial era house using pirate figs. Would that be put into the pirate theme or town theme? Since it's town, but colonial era town. I'm just a little confused.
